Native desktop application

The native Windows desktop includes a C# / WinForms toolbar adapted from Veyon’s ToolButton.cpp and ToolButton.h, copyright © 2006–2026 Tobias Junghans. The native desktop application is provided under GNU GPL version 2 or later, without warranty. The upstream revision used is 1cebf45f6c1af8bab2c96278a58db1cf2f56685d.

The corresponding desktop source, build instructions, upstream files, and license are included with the main PC app in Source/MabniLab.Desktop.Source.zip. Use Settings → Save desktop source code in the app, or download the desktop source here.

Runtime and dependencies

Mabni Lab uses .NET and ASP.NET Core, SQLite and SQLitePCL.raw, Microsoft Windows libraries, Microsoft WebView2, LibreHardwareMonitor and its dependencies. Original component licenses apply. The offline WebView2 Runtime and PawnIO sensor dependency retain their original signed vendor installers.

Website and classroom data

This setup website does not request student accounts or collect classroom screens. The classroom application keeps its teacher service and records on the main PC. Student screen and device data travel over the local classroom connection. Microsoft runtime components have their own privacy terms. Email links open your email application.
